iWrite - Charlie Payne

"Technology" is an extremely broad term. That being said, I would argue that technology has had nothing but a positive effect on the way I live my life. I'm able to keep my fresh food cold and to heat up my hot food quickly. I'm able to purchase things I want online, thereby increasing my overall happiness with the things I own. I am able to study for an English vocab quiz the day it's being given. Travelling from place to place is far easier using a car than it is using my legs, unless I am in a situation wherein using my legs would be either more fun or more advantageous. I am able to access days and days of music from a device not much larger than a credit card. I could go on for a long time. However, some problems arise with the advent of personal technology. I often find myself disconnected from my own life after using my device for too long, but this is something that can be easily corrected by a self-moderation of use of said device.
