Create Your Own Adventure Skylar Mays

1. How much time should people spend playing video games or the newest phone games like Trivia Crack? Do they benefit you in any ways or is it a complete waste?
2. Can certain music types be considered a fad? Do you fall out of love with a song as quickly as you fell into it? Does it vary depending on what genre you listen to?
3. The other day I overheard a mom off Toddlers in Tiaras saying that pageants are a competitive sport. Do you agree? What constitutes a sport? Should cheerleading be considered a sport? Band?

2. Its hard to constitute music types as fads, but easier for songs. For example you have songs that transition the way we dance. For example, the Harlem Shake. It was a national craze. Something everyone did. From appearing on SNL to getting to do one as a reward in our freshman English class if we scored above a 92 on a test. Other times you have music that changes the way people act. A person most likely isn't going to listen screamo unless they believed it could otherwise change the way people saw them, make them appear more rebellious. I believe music has the ability to determine your personality opposed to your personality choosing what music you listen to.
