Do you know your neighbor?- Skylar Mays

I sit next to Lucy McFarland, and I'm pretty sure this only our second or third class together in the past 3 years. We never really talked much until this year, but she was always friendly and easy enough to talk to as far as small talk. This year I definitely think we've grown somewhat closer. Despite her sarcastic tone I guess she's okay. She is incredibly intelligent, isn't afraid to speak her mind, a strong woman's rights activist, and based on her personality I imagine she probably has a good taste in music. I was a little intimidated when I first met her but may but quickly found out that I had no reason to be because she's super cool and anyone that can make fun of themselves as easily as she does is the kind of person I don't mind associating with. Her and Rachel's bickering has had an impact on my enjoyment of the class in a positive way. Lucy and I aren't best friends or hang out outside of school, but if we were ever in that situation I feel like we could still have a really good time just because of how easily we get along.
