Flying Turkeys - Keanu Gomez

Like how many people spend Thanksgiving, I spend the holiday with my family, relatives, and friends. But it’s nothing really exciting for me though. My relatives also live in Lexington so no road trips or vacations for me. Every thanksgiving my family goes to my aunt’s house for dinner. It’s probably not far from the ordinary, except for the great array of Filipino dishes. If there’s any Filipino food I want to eat it’s probably already on the table filled from edge to edge with food. I like the holiday because I get to freely stuff myself with delicious food. Everyone is eating a lot so I’ll fit in just fine. I like being able to spend time with kind, warm people that I don’t necessarily see every day.  This is how my thanksgiving is for most years, but there was one year where I remember going to New York and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was a pleasant and fun experience, the only downside being the really cold weather. This is most likely the most fun I’ve ever had on Thanksgiving.
