Come to the dark side, Luke- Tora Sellers

There cannot be a more subjective question than the concept of good and evil. All moral standards that are understood in the present day by a majority of the human population are nothing more than arbitrary rules and guidelines. Several centuries ago, in the Aztec Empire, ritual human sacrifice and some mild cannibalism were considered to be a show of moral righteousness to the gods. When the Europeans arrived, however, this practice, along with much of the Aztec population and culture were eliminated for being savage and ungodly. Yet to the Spaniards who claimed this, genocide, mass rape, enslavement, and total annihilation of another culture was the one, truly righteous path. Both of these beliefs, though seen by contemporary western culture as the lowest of the moral “wrongs”, were the pinnacles of moral “goodness”  to those who practiced them. This is the historical equivalent of “From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!”, “Well then you are lost!” in which neither side is truly correct except to themselves (Please excuse my use of an Episode III quote).
