Assignment 3 Ian

What you're asking is a pretty heavy question. I honestly don't feel like we can put such concrete rules on such large and abstract concepts, mainly because everyone is going to feel differently based on experience, personality, etc. There are always going to be situations where the right thing is obvious, like whether or not you should give help to someone in need of it. There will always be gray areas, like the death penalty. These gray areas and our wildly different opinions are what make us all different or "special." To ask this question is a major part of the human condition. Each of us will have a (sometimes only slightly) different reaction to a situation without a simple "right" solution, and each of us will have different opinions on these reactions. Some say there is war between good and evil happening. Some say good is winning, some say evil is winning. Some say there is no such "war." Some say neither concept exists. I personally think each and every one of us has a choice between the two every day of our lives, but I also realize that others have radically different beliefs about this and there's really no way of proving if anybody's right, so why try? Such is life, to objectively and hypocritically put it into words such a vast debate.
