Assignment 3: Come to the dark side, Luke - Keionna Bailey

How do you even begin to define good and evil? Depending on your definition you might have a different outlook. To me people define those terms based on their cause and life experience. They may believe that what their doing is truly good but you may not. There is isn't a a distinction between the two because most of it is a gray area. We all have the opportunity to be great people but of course we have our temptations to do bad things and in the end we sometimes succumb to those "evil" things. So because I may have done something "evil" does that make me an evil person? NO. It makes me human. Sometimes it is the "evil" things" that make that person great, because they were able to take that experience and learn something from it.

There is no such thing as absolute good or absolute evil.  Good vs. Evil is all about perception. It's truly what you want to see in that person.  For example why do we use the terms predator and prey? We obviously feel the need to categorize people and animals as either good or evil. Everyone looks at lions and tigers and label them as a "predator" because they always eat other animals. But they see it as this is my only way to survive and they have to eat. Maybe they're the prey to what we call the food chain. And the sane could be said for World War II. I haven't met one person who doesn't think Hitler was good. Everyone want's label him as evil but he was just doing what he thought was best, because he didn't see his actions as evil.

Neither good or evil can be eliminated. And won may win, but that win could be temporary. The  other side could come back and win too. Good and evil will always coexist.
