Boo-Sydney Taylor
For those of you that don't know, I am a huge fan of the The Walking Dead. I'm actually watching it as I'm writing this. But I spend a ridiculous amount of time laying out my plan for the inevitable zombie apocalypse and this is what it comes down to. Build the dream team. You need a leader(not me, I can't handle that stress), a doctor, a smart strategist, a moral compass, the typical for-lack-of-a-better-word badass, a nice but relatively weak person that transforms into the strongest, most important person in the group(this is me!), and a few filler people to give you a big, powerful squad to take on zombies with. Then you need to choose your weapon. A gun would seem like the most obvious choice, but they require ammo. If you've seen Disney's Rapunzel, however, they use a frying pan to assault people and that's what I would stick with to avoid the issue of ammo and have lots of power. Finally, your group has to find a system to sustain themselves, namely a place to call home and a set of rules to live by. Moving around seems to me to be the best course of action rather than trying to build a community in the midst of the mess that is the world just to almost certainly be let down by the destruction of the make-shift community. And as for rules, well they're meant to be broken.
