Andrew

I have the rare privilege of sitting next to the person of which my primary social interactions are with, and who's life in Henry Clay is the most interesting to me, Mikaela Gatewood. She's been living in Lexington for slightly over a year, and I've been dating her for nine months, so I care safely say I know her the best of anyone in our class, and even better then she might think I do-although I might not know her as well as I think I do.
Still, a considerable amount of her thoughts, reflections, and criticisms that  she avoids discussing even with our friend group, let alone the general classroom, end up in our conversations. Due to this she often appears timid and quiet to onlookers, and has even been the subject of some brutal attacks from members of our social group, although her opinions on this remain private. Far from a ferocious person, I'd argue there's still a spirit and vitality within her that is oft overlooked. She approaches her passions and problems with what I perceive (maybe more so then she does) is a ferocity that is-frankly-beautiful.
If asked, she might say that her interests are music, art, architecture, and creatures of the canine persuasion, but I'd extrapolate and simplify that her interests are life, in all it's complexities and marvels. She has a manner of viewing people and situations in life that is fascinating.  Our taste in music and medium has become increasingly divergent, but more so then a lot of my acquaintance and friends I understand her perspective. Not only do her opinions and thoughts feel honest and legitimate, but she has a manner of reinforcing them that's forced me to examine pieces I'd dismissed. Despite her rejection of my more dissonant musical interests, and small literary common ground, her thoughts, and the process by which she obtains them I find very relatable. After high school and college she's one of the three or four in our grade I'll remain curious about her life and thoughts, and plan in some manner to keep up with. I'd hate to admit the limitations of language, but Mikaela comes across as a person that cannot, or at least should not be described, as much as experienced.
