Kayla has to be the most cognizant and detail acute person that you will ever meet. Every day in class she will point something out to me that I had never noticed. And I love how she will comment funny little remarks and has great opinions on things. Another thing that I admire about Kayla is that she isn't arrogant. She knows that she's a great student and she doesn't feel the need to point out scores to you. She doesn't tell everyone how good she did on a test like other unmentionables in the Academy do.
Kayla has always been the standout English student. I think she knew what she wanted to be when she grew up as soon as she was born. I remember her carrying around her composition notebook in middle school writing in it every chance she got. But you could never ask her to read it because she always gave that deer in the headlights look of a NO. But that was ok because even though we weren't allowed to read it we knew that there was something amazing inside. This is still true today. You will never see Kayla without her notebook and I'm proud that she hasn't given up on her dreams and continues to pursue her writing career every day.
