i have a really weird thing for inspirational quotes. i think its a Gemini thing, not really sure, but i love them. so, on one of my very common Pinterest quote raids i found this quote from Kurt Vonnegut that involves the line "don't let the bitterness steal your sweetness" and there hasn't been a day since i read that that it hasn't crossed my mind. yeah, the world might suck, and yeah, there might be really really bad people in the world, but you gotta keep dealing with yourself. maybe that could be perceived as selfish? but id like to think its just smart. positivity is something that i love when people radiate. i try to do it myself, but im naturally really mean and sarcastic so it usually doesn't come off that im very positive. you have to stay enthusiastic and positive about whats to come because otherwise... whats the freakin point? so kids, don't let the bitterness steal your sweetness.
