Assignment 25 Ian Harrison

I'm normally a pretty laid-back person, so I rarely get stressed. But when I do, I have a pretty simple method for calming down: stories. Books, movies, you name it, just let me immerse myself in someone else's world for a few hours. It works pretty well, until I realize that I've procrastinated and now I have to do whatever it is I was supposed to do, often with little clue of how to do it. Yes, this method is pretty ineffective as far as productivity is concerned, but it does wonders for my stress levels. Just forgetting the situation for a little while is relaxing, even if reality will eventually come crashing down upon me. Even as I'm writing this, I'm watching The Office because it's hilarious and I'm trying to forget about the chaos of finals and AP tests. Michael Scott and co.'s shenanigans are doing a fantastic job of keeping me from studying for the imminent AP Art History exam, which I am woefully unprepared for. So when you're wondering why I got a two, don't blame me. Blame Steve Carrell.
