Assignment 23-perfect playlist-MIa Alexander

The  perfect playlist when you're chilling, (maybe lonely or missing someone),  and in a reminiscent mood:
1. Favorite- Nicki Minaj ft. Jeremih
It's one of my FAVORITE songs haha. Also, it adds a bit of R&B with Rap which I tend to gravitate towards. It's the first song because it's a great intro into the playlist, it starts off slow but then picks up pace. The song pretty much encompasses the entire pace of the playlist. It's got the lovey dovey vibe to it as well.
2. Fantasy- Alina Baraz &Galimatias
Seriously one of my top songs ever. I have listened to it so much that it actually annoys me a little when it comes on. It has an angelic melody reminding me of love. It's the second song because it just couldn't be first for some reason. Like all  of the other songs in this playlist, it's all about relationships and a significant other. It's a very chill song, calming at the least.
3. Lost- Chance the Rapper ft. Noname Gypsy
Definitely a different song from Chance with the typical church-like harmony throughout. The metaphors capture love. The jazz background is serenity. It's in the middle of the playlist because it returns back to the R&B I really love, like in the first song and I can never wait until the end of a playlist to hear his music.
4. Make You Feel- Alina Baraz & Galimatias
You know you love a group when their music is on your short playlist more than once. :). I realized Alina's songs are all similar. Angelic, calm, romantic. The lyrics can be a bit racy, the essence of the playlist to be frank. But it always reminds me of whatever I was doing the first time I heard this song, I forget.
5. You Know You Like It(DJ Snake Remix)- Aluna George
Ahhhhh! Love this song, probably why it's on here. But anyways. the best part of this song is the beat. A mix of dubstep and R&B, I haven't heard anything like this (until Lean On came out). It gives the angsty mood because it isn't too lovey dovey which is why I chose it to complete the playlist- whether I'm missing someone or just bored, this song for some reason, reminds me that I gotta get up and get motivated because there's more to life. Me and my bestfriend, Daija both love this song so of course we jam out a lot to it.
