Assignment 26, Jesse Konopka

Honestly, I felt that everything that was done this year was very effective. The only thing that could've been done better is more hands-on assignments. A lot of the time was spent explaining and reviewing essays and essay strategy, and very little was spent with hands-on assignments, at least for the second semester. Now, I'm not complaining. I mean, its hard to plan hands-on assignments to the extent I'm suggesting here. I just felt that there was a lot of unused time that could've been spent with more varied teaching methods. Now, on a more personal level, I don't believe I got much better at writing this year, I really don't. This, however, is more my fault. I simply don't have the drive for that sort of improvement to my skills, and it's something I have to work on. Overall, you did a fantastic job as an instructor and I believe that many students benefited greatly from being in your class.
