Buckets and Buckets- Mikaela Gatewood

(None of these are in order of importance)

Before I finish high school:
1) Go to a music festival
2) See all 5 of my top favorite bands in concert (1 down, 4 to go)
3) Become somehow involved in the architecture world (through an internship or just helping out architecture professors at UK, things like that)

Before I finish college:
1) Study abroad
2) Adopt an animal of my own (aiming for a cat maybe? If not, then definitely a hamster or at least a fish)
3) Have my own apartment

Before I finish life:
1) Travel to at least 6 out of the 7 continents
2) Have enough money to retire comfortably
3) Own as many dogs as possible
4) Be successful in whatever career I choose to pursue

I think the most important thing for me before I finish high school is to get involved in the architecture world. I would love to have a better understanding, as well as a head start, in the field that I wish to pursue my career in. I think it could significantly help me when deciding which area of architecture I'd like to focus on as well as understanding the career as a whole.

I'd love to be able to study abroad before I finish college. I think it would be amazing to live in a new culture and country. My top choices for studying abroad would either be France or Italy, although unfortunately I speak neither of those languages. I should probably get on that.

Before I finish life my most important goal is to travel, preferably to at least 6 out of the 7 continents. Somewhat similar to my goal of studying abroad, I'd love to experience new cultures and see the rest of the world. There's just so much beauty and different ways of life in other countries that I can't get by staying in America. I'd say my top 3 places to travel to right now are Iceland, India, and Morocco, although I have at least 30 other places on a list I'm continually adding to.
