What is it good for- Maddie Wheeler

I honestly couldn't tell you if I believe in war or not. I don't ever see myself enlisting or serving my country in a way that involves that much violence. I would probably say I support war but only because I don't see any viable alternative actually existing. I honestly don't know enough about foreign policy to say if war is ever necessary or whatever. The whole idea that there is no solution but killing people is quite scary to me and I think society as a whole should work on that. That's a little bit soul tearing when you stop and think about it. I suppose some people respond better to violence or being scared into doing the right thing, that's the reason you can spank your kids. It sucks and people learn their lesson, but on the other hand a lot of people respond in the worst way possible to that. Many people see violence or get treated violently and they act out and do worse. Ultimately, I don't know. But not to worry, I'm not running for president anytime soon.
