Brave Little Toasters- Maddie Wheeler

Pink and polka-dotty. A day in the life of an invention no one really appreciates. A hair brush. These poor objects sit on our bathroom counters or at the bottom of our purses all day long. Pulling strands of keratin out of our scalps in order for us humans or dogs or cats or furry little creatures to look presentable in someone's eyes. Wet or dry, blonde or brunette, straight or curly, hairbrushes tackle it all. Imagine being picked out of a dark and cold drawer just to be dragged through a teenage girls wet and tangly mess of hair and then thrown back into that dark and cold drawer, but this time, you'll be cold and wet. Or imagine a worse situation where you're pulled through a mess of day old hairspray and mousse just to be thrown to the bottom of the pit of doom known as a handbag. A truly grueling life, that of a hairbrush.
