So i really like Alfred Hitchcock... pretentious, i know. Also just really justified. Im tryna compare Pschyo with Vertgo... beacause why not?
The first time i watched Pschyo i was actually crying because of how scared i was and that was only like 2 years ago. Hitchcock's approach to horror is pretty different than now, as it is mostly suspense. Now its kinda like ahhh!!!! blood!!!! ahhhh!!!!! some stupid teenage girl in the woods!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
If someone asks me what my favorite movie is I'm always torn between Vertigo and Clueless. I say different anwsers for different people because they give off a very different vibe. Vertigo probably triumphs though just because of the intricate and outstanding plot. It isnt just about some scared guy. The plot intertwines like crazy.
So comparing them to each other, they are both really awesome. (im really really really good at being descriptive) The films are very similar in their approach, due to the directors own personal style. They are both very well involved and thought through, soemthing that cant be said about all films today.
So basically alfred hitchcock is the best, and thats what i have to say.
