The question you pose this week is quite a deep,
philosophical as made clear by the previous posts.
It’s a question that makes you question the world we live in
and doubt the status of humanity.
There’s so much wrong and evil in the world. It seems every
time you check the news the whole world is collapsing into chaos and ruin.
There seems to be no out to all the terrible things in the world. But that’s
just how our society is, not the world. We choose to only show the bad because
the good doesn't make an entertaining story. The way news is presented to us
and how we learn about things frames it so we believe that there is no way that
true good could actually exist.
War, disease, shootings. All things that have infiltrated
our homes only in the past few weeks. But what do these constant tragedies
teach us? They teach us that we can find good in anything. Tragedy is what
unites us as humans. We come together to raise money, to support, to fix the
problems, to help those in need and when we can accomplish something great like
this, it’s beautiful.
So while it may be true that there are people and acts in
this world that are based solely in wrong and evil morals, the way we choose to
accept these things is how we can become an unstoppable force of good.
