Hi! I’m Kayla Beebout, and I’m a writer. I think that pretty much sums up the two most
important things about me. I love
stories and writing, and am working on a novel as well as writing poetry and
the occasional short story on the side.
My favorite books are the Lord of
the Rings trilogy and the Harry
Potter series, but the permanent winner is definitely LOTR. I also love Agatha Christie’s books and the works
of C. S. Lewis. I don’t watch a lot of
TV, but when I do, Doctor Who is
probably my favorite show. If I were to
choose a common theme for my favorite stories, I would say adventure. I’ve always loved reading and writing
adventure stories, especially when they have complex and relatable characters. However, I think that if I were to actually
go on an adventure, I might start out a bit like the reluctant and awkward Bilbo
Baggins; I just hope I would turn out as well as he did in the end!
